Myth: Make Treatment Decisions Immediately

After receiving a breast cancer diagnosis, it really feels as though everything moves at lightening speed. For me, after hearing those words, "you have cancer," I almost couldn't hear the rest of the words coming from my doctors mouth. I needed to digest the information first so I could then make an informed decision about my treatment plan. There is a lot to learn in this process and it's ok to take a breath before jumping into action. Don't fall subject to the common myth that you must act right away. Know the facts.
